Short testimonials
The occupancy heat map finally made sense to our non-finance board members. We kept the old spreadsheet for auditors, but meetings now start with the dashboard printout.
— Grace Tan, Company Secretary, Borneo Bay Resorts
Honest about limitations — they told us our inventory export was too granular for a single chart and proposed a two-level drill instead. Took an extra week but the result holds up.
— Kevin Liew, Supply Chain Lead, Sabah Agro Trading
Workshop was practical. My store managers stopped asking what a trailing average means. Still waiting on the Bahasa Malaysia commentary option they mentioned for Q3.
— Siti Aminah, Regional Manager, Coastal Retail Group
Monthly retainer pays for itself in the time our CFO no longer spends reformatting slides the night before board meetings.
— James Ho, Finance Director, KK Logistics Partners
Project story: Kinabalu Fresh Markets
Challenge: A six-branch grocery group received daily sales extracts but leadership reviewed numbers only at quarter-end. Branch managers maintained separate Excel files with inconsistent product categories.
Engagement: KPI audit in January 2025, followed by an executive dashboard build covering same-store sales, shrinkage rate, labour hours per thousand ringgit sold, and supplier fill rate.
Outcome: The group MD now receives a consolidated A3 PDF every Monday by 9 a.m. Shrinkage variance commentary flagged a refrigeration issue at the Penampang branch three weeks before the maintenance team logged it internally.
Reservation: Initial POS column mapping required two onsite visits because legacy SKU codes did not match the finance chart of accounts — something the scoping questionnaire had underestimated.
Project story: Sutera Harbour Hospitality
Challenge: Occupancy, F&B covers, and spa bookings lived in three systems. Board packs took four days to assemble and still contained conflicting RevPAR calculations.
Engagement: Executive dashboard with unified definitions, quarterly refresh, and bilingual variance notes (English primary, Malay summary box).
Outcome: Board prep dropped to one day. Directors referenced the annotated occupancy chart during the 2025 renovation funding discussion rather than requesting ad-hoc analysis.
