Flagship timings from the office Wi-Fi do not describe the hour between Taman Molek and the checkpoint.
Johor Bahru product teams often test on the same class of phone the founders carry. Those phones are fast, recently charged, and usually on good Wi-Fi. The people who actually open the app at 7:40 on the way toward Woodlands are on two-year-old Androids, with a handful of other apps waking the radio, on a cell that is busy.
A performance review here is less about laboratory frames-per-second and more about whether the home screen appears before the driver needs the phone back in a bag. We watch cold start, the first list, and what the app does when it is backgrounded during a patchy hand-off between towers.
Polling every few seconds in the background is a common finding. So is a hero video that has no still fallback. So is an unbounded image carousel from a CMS.
Bring one mid-range Android that you already support, with a realistic set of other apps installed. We will use it. The flagship can stay in the drawer until the polish pass.
